Resting in the River Organic Farm's commitment to biodiversity and ecological balance goes well beyond the farm. There is a deep commitment to restoring the health of the New Mexican Bosque, the riparian area along the banks of the Chama River that is home to cottonwoods, water fowl and wild critters and the intrinsic beauty of all that live there.

Marsha Mason is also currently the Chairperson of the New Mexico Organic Commodity Commission, appointed personally by Governor Bill Richardson.
